Stranger In The Forest

|
A few weeks back, photos resurfaced of an un-contacted Amazonian Tribe. The tribe has, for the most part, been left untouched and has remained completely independent of society. Recently, their has been activity in the Amazon by illegal loggers. Other tribes have fled their own habitats and have joined this group in their search for protection. The fear that is spreading amongst some people is that these tribes will soon be met with bulldozers, viruses and guns; leading to the inevitability of their extinction. Brazil’s National Indian Foundation -a government agency tasked with handling the nation’s indigenous communities- has been in charge of bringing to light to outside governments and persons the existence of these tribes. All we are doing is trying to bring more eyes to the haunting reality of urban and rural gentrification.
