The Music Box

|
So in short, this little flick right here is about a kid who is trying to find an apartment, but instead it ends up choosing him. It's definitely up in the top 10 shorts I've seen. Plus I gotta hand it to Director, writer, choreographer, editor, and anything else imaginable, Daniel Cloud Campos for such a damn job well done. And extremely important honorable mentions to Jerry Evans and Troy Christian, the Cinematographers. Not only does the short get better as it progresses but it ended in a drastic yet still fulfilling finale. And I ain't gonna lie, that kid's got some moves. Enjoy:

Now I'm not normally one for horror flicks or scary movies, but I am for movies that f*ck with your mind and creep the sh!t out of you. I'm keeping my hopes up for this one. Enjoy:

Flying in Monterrey

|
Jon Devore and Mike Swanson go for a little fly-time down south. Goddamn I want one of those wombat suits. Enjoy:

Odö

|
Giving a local shoutout to my main squeeze, Henry Dougy for his patriotism in The Goods.

This is easily some of the dopest art I've seen in a while. French artist Nicolas Le Borgne, AKA Odö has been doing work lately pushing out some fresh-ass prints. Not to mention a good portion of them were drawn with ballpoint pen or a graphite pencil. Damn, gotta hand it to this guy. Enjoy:

Nardwuar Interview with Curren$y

Taylor McFerrin- Done For

|
Aiight so this post goes out to my main squeeze DJ RAF, AKA Different Sleep. This song ain't too old, but it's not hot out the oven either. Either way this joint's pretty damn dopeboy fresh. Taylor McFerrin, son of Bobby McFerrin is a prestigious new DJ who's been starting to kill it lately. If ya dig that dubwubwub and melodic beats and other shit like that, than this is for you. Definitely need bass on this one. Enjoy:

DONE FOR by Taylor McFerrin

Download: So sorry, but I had to remove the download link because of a DMCA notice. It is available on iTunes.

Bonus: Taylor with his pops beatboxin' it up:

Tyler, The Creator

|
So I guess it's about time I talk about Tyler, The Creator. If you haven't heard the buzz about him yet, then you're just dumb. He raps about whatever he feels like and doesn't really give a shit about it. Which is also partly false because he flows and it all makes sense, not to mention he's got that steez. Anyways his album artwork came out today and the rest of the tracks drop May 10. Enjoy:

Here's the cover:

Solovyov Design's Brain Light

|
Here's the Solovyov Design's Insight energy efficient brain lamp. Pretty dope. Extremely dope. Enjoy:

Contrast- Take ONe

|
New underground hiphop groups always get us excited because we get all antsy waiting to see if they'll turn out good or not. I'm happy to say these two California native MCs aren't too bad, specifically the beats they got playing behind them. We're glad to see there still hope in the game that's not in the limelight. Enjoy these mellow joints:

Super Salad Sundays

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday ladies and gents. We got the goods in store:

Pharoahe Monch- Clap (One Day)

|
'You can always count of Pharoahe Monch for quality music set to captivating visuals. With his upcoming album W.A.R. right around the corner, it only seems right that the first music video to the release serves more as a short film. In the 10 minute clip for ‘Clap (One Day)’, watch as a police raid goes wrong in this well directed video.'

Enypniastes Eximia, Also Known As WTF

|
The Enypniastes Eximia, or Pelagic Sea Cucumber, is just another friendly creature of the sea. Yes, the sea on our planet. I swear every week I hear of a newly discovered critter that looks like some smashed up rave scene kid with light gloves. Anyways, this little guy actually gets quite around with its specially designed webbings to help it swim some 1000m up into the water column. Check it:

Quick Fact: We know more about our moon than we do our oceans. Can't wait for future discoveries!
